Description
Uniflor 8470 is used to tackle squeak and rattle/NVH problems by automotive manufacturers; the product is used as a cost effective alternative to other PFPE products such as Carbaflo and KSP105.
Uniflor 8470 is a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oil product that is clear, odourless and chemically inert. The oil can be used on all surfaces, it also has an exceptional upper temperature range that makes the product suitable for vehicle exterior and under bonnet problems.
Uniflor 8470 Oil is ideal for window ‘itch’ noise problems created in the area between the windscreen glass and sealant. The product is also suitable for general fascia squeaks and sunroof mechanisms. Although virtually invisible in thin layers the oil gives the appearance of drying but is very persistent. The oil can make surfaces appear shiny after application.
HOW TO USE: Apply the Squeaks & Rattles Oil using the hypo-oiler, dabomatic pen, brush or by wiping on the area to be treated using a clean cloth or sponge. Wipe away any excess oil after treatment. Parts can be mounted directly after application. Do not use excessive amounts as the oil can migrate to other surfaces if overused.
Recommended service temperature range is -50 to 225 C
